"What?" he says in disbelief, "I thought three minutes would be WAY under-doing it!"

In case any of you were wondering:
When crunched for time,
!!No!! you can't throw a mound of cookie dough
in the microwave for 3 minutes,
go jump in the shower,
and expect a nice little treat to be there when you get back.

Well, we got a good laugh out of it. That is, once we could breathe again after ridding the apartment of the putrid-smoke-spouting-microwave and smoldering cookie! Yes, that's oatmeal cookie dough turned charcoal in a matter of 2 minutes. The plate broke from the heat I guess...??
Oh, Jeff, you're c-r-a-z-y!!! But that's why I love you!!!
(PS- I love the irony of Jeff wearing his BYU Alumni, AKA "I'm a college graduate," shirt... but don't hold it against him-- physics majors don't have time for Home Ec classes!)
Very Funny! Is that what you call an "Unedible" cookie?
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks for the good laugh!
ReplyDeletei just laughed out loud... great story.
ReplyDeletep.s. i'm really impatient too when it comes to cookies, (not that they bake that long anyway...) so i just make the dough without even turning on the oven and just grab a spoon...
maybe he'll like that alternative. ;)
Oh wow! 25-30 seconds! I've perfected the microwave cookie =) Congrats on your cute little baby!
